Leviticus 20:25-27

The Voice

²⁵ Consequently you must know the difference between a ritually pure and impure animal and a pure and impure bird. Do not make yourselves detestable by eating an animal, a bird, or any small creature that I have designated as ritually impure. ²⁶ You must be holy, for I, the Eternal One, am holy, and I have chosen you from all the people of the world to be My people.

²⁷ Any person among you who is a medium or tries to communicate with the spirits of the dead must be put to death. They are to be stoned to death, for their blood will be required of them.
